Penn vs. Fitch II

According to UFC.com B.J Penn will be taking on Jon Fitch at UFC 132 on July 3rd. This fight will be the second fight for these two warriors, because at UFC 127 they fought to a majority draw. I personally thought that Penn won the fight, but what can i say, I'm not on of those crappy Boxing judges that the athletic commission assign to judge the fights. I'm just a MMA fan that loves the sports.

Korean Zombie V.S Leonard Garcia 2

According to Mixed Martial Arts.Com, Nam Phan has been taken out of his UFC fight night Seattle fight with Leonard Garcia due to an injury he sustained while training for the fight. And now taking his place is the "Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung. We all remember the 2010 fight of the year these two warriors put on last year in the WEC, and we can only hope to see another one of those all out wars here in the UFC.

UFC 128!!!

This weekend march 18 is the UFC's return to New Jersey, and their coming into town with a killer fight card. The first fight of the night on the under card is "The Jersey Devil" himself Nick Catone, taking on UFC newcomer Costantinos Philippou. Catone is looking to continue his one fight winstreak in his homestate, and Philippou is looking to make a splash in the UFC with a win over Catone. The Second fight of the night on the undercard is, WEC veteran Erik Koch who is replacing an injured Manvil Gamburyan, taking on another WEC vet, Raphael Assuncao. They are both making their UFC debuts since the WEC has now merged with the Ultimate Fighting Championship; the third fight of the night is the former WEC bantamweight title contender, Joseph Benavidez against "Team Quest" standout Ian Loveland. The first of the prelims being shown live on Facebook.com is other New Jersey Native, Kurt Pellegrino who is taking on a big task in the always dangerous Gleison Tibau, not to mention that Tibau looks like a tree trunk with legs, he also has a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which makes him a very dangerous ground opponent. The second fight being aired live on facebook is, Jiu Jitsu blackbelt and New Jersey native Ricardo "Big Dog" Almeida who will be taking on the dangerous submission artist Mike "Quicksand" Pyle. Pyle who is a brown belt in BJJ will be in for a tough ground battle with Almeida and will look to continue his winning ways, as Almeida is looking to rebound from a first round submision lose to UFC hall of famer Matt Hughes "This should be an awesome ground war". And the first of two fights being airined live on Spike Television, puts Muay Thai/ Kickboxing artist Edson "Junior" Barboza up against the always entertaining Anthony" The Assasin" Njokuani. In the second fight being aired on Spike; Luiz Cane will be taking on Eliot Marshall in a clash of styles match up, when the always dangerous Knockout artist Cane is put up against Jiu Jitsu specialist in Marshall. And now onto the Main Card. In the first fight of the night on the main card, Ultimate fighter veteran and former pro football player, Brendan Schaub will be taking on the Pride Legend Mirko Cro Cop. Personally i think if Schaub beats Cro Cop decisively that this maybe the final curtain call for the MMA legend. In the second bout of the night Dan Miller will be stepping in for UFC middleweight standout Yoshihiro Akiyama due to the recent tradgedy in Japan. Miller will be taking on the 5 time king of Pancraese, Nate "The Great" Marquardt. This should be a pretty interesting battle due to the recent opponent changings. In the third fight of the night The second of the Miller brothers from Jersey. Jim Miller will be challenging the "Prince of Persia" Kamal Shalorus. I think that if miller puts on a good of enough performance that he should have his shot at the UFC Lightweight Championship. In the Co.Main Event of the evening The Former WEC Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber will be making his Debut against the heavy handed Eddie Wineland. I am really looking forward to this clash of the titans and I'm ready to see the "California Kid" put on a show. In the Main event of the evening The UFC Light Heavy Weight Champion Of The World, Mauricio "Shogun" Rua will be taking on the number on MMA prospect in the World, Jon "Bones" Jones. This is one of the most talked about fights since the Brock Lesnar, Shane Carwin fight; and I'm ready to see it happen. All in all this should be a great fight card. Fans get your popcorn ready, because this fight card is sure not to disappoint.

My Main Card Picks
Mauricio "Shogun" Rua v.s Jon "Bones" Jones- Jones via TKO 2nd Round
Urijah Faber v.s Eddie Wineland- Faber via Submission 2nd Round
Jim Miller v.s Kamal Shalorus- Miller via Unanimous Decision
Nate "The Great" Marquardt v.s Jim Miller- Mardquardt via 1st Round TKO
Brendan Schaub v.s Mirko Cro Cop- Schaub via 2nd round KO
